History

Mariner Cay was purchased by a real estate developer, St. Lucie-Jupiter Corporation in the late 1960s. It formerly belonged to a family of commercial fishermen-- the Stiller family. The Stiller and Whitaker families originally contracted the digging of many of the canals which remain in the community today.

The original developer eventually abandoned the construction and dream of building the Mariner Cay community due to bankruptcy. Thankfully with a plan and perseverence, Cleve Webb and a few other dedicated residents of Mariner Cay saved the development. Due to their efforts, the community began to grow and is now thriving. 

Community Features

Mariner Cay is extremely well located by land or by sea. Resort style amenities include two pools, pickleball and clubhouse with fitness room. Mariner Cay's location on the Manatee Pocket make this a great destination for R&R. Boaters welcome!
